Can you believe I have never tried the "Saran Wrap" nail art? I had it on my list of things, but something always distracted me from it. I finally tried it (well, a variation. I blotted the polish on instead of off.) and I love it! I think I ended up with something that looks a bit like turquoise stone. I need to get a good soft gray and do granite next!
Derp. I had to edit this because I forgot a step!
How I did this:
I painted two coats of the WnW and a coat of Poshe topcoat. Then I used a crumply bit of cling film and blotted the Liquid Leather onto my nails. Next, I blotted the Tiffany Imposter on over it all, to give it a little depth. (Tiffany Imposter is a little more green than I Need a Refresh-Mint). Finally a coat of Poshe to seal it all. I can't believe I forgot about that bit!

That came out great! I need to try this.
ReplyDeleteI was skeptical, but I really love how it turned out. Next is gray/black/brown/shimmery white to match my bathroom counters!
