Subtle Peacock Gradient

By now, I'm sure everyone is tired of gradients from me. But I still love them. I can't help it. They are easy, look awesome, and let me use more than one color without doing anything over-complicated.

Colors Used:
Sally Hansen Insta Dri Vigorous Violet
Sally Hansen Insta Dri Brisk Blue
Revlon Chroma Chameleon Aquamarine

I did a regular old gradient with the blue and purple. Then I added a coat of the Aquamarine, and used Amanda's blotting technique to enhance the sparkle. When that was all done, I added a coat of seche vite and called it a day. This is after 3 days of hard wear-n-tear. (there were some technical difficulties with the camera and my light. I think its all solved now.) I really love it. It reminds me of a peacock, but in a not-so-in-your-face kind of way.

  1. Gradients are really one of my favorite things to do as well. I don't do as many as I would because of the godawful cleanup but I recently saw someone paint the skin around the nail with Elmer's glue and that made it look like the clean up would be super easy...and fun! So, I need to try that soon.

    1. I tried the glue thing once with a water marble. It takes so long to dry! I almost forget what I want to do during the dry time.
