Time for some more "pinspired" nail art. I don't do these near as often as I think I will. My inspiration board is chock full of interesting pictures that I swear I have the intention is using as a jumping-off point for a manicure.
I've had this one staring at me for a while, and I hemmed and hawed over how to do it correctly. I'm not 100% happy with what I chose, but I still think it looks cool.
It's from the Paule Ka Spring 2014 collection. This is a designer I've never heard of, but I think I like the aesthetics. There is something about this neon pink taffeta dress against the cool blue background that just grabs me. I knew that I had colors that would be absolutely perfect for this.
I tried taping the lines, but it was so hard to get a good straight line...I may abandon taping all together. It never works out like I want it too. I did freehand stripes on my right hand, and they didn't turn out much wonkier.
