Pinspired: Kitten in the Moonlight

It is time for another Pinspired manicure! I feel like I haven't done one of these in forever. Not that I don't cruise Pinterest looking for inspiration...I just don't see anything that grabs me as often as I used to. Until I saw this picture. I don't often do things like this, and I thought it would be a good exercise for me. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

My Version:

I wanted a slightly bluer background, so I used the Brisk Blue as a base, and sponged the Turkboys over the top. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, considering that hand drawn things with such detail are really not my strong suit. The cat turned out adorable, and I was definitely sorry that I used a crappy base coat...half the design popped off after my shower :( I love/hate when that happens.
