half-sponsored giveaway
It's the final countdown er...giveaway! Since this one is the very last, I decided to try and make it as big as I could. I reached out to one of my new favorite indie cosmetics brands, Blackbird Cosmetics, and asked if she wanted to partner up and help sponsor this giveaway. Thank heavens, she said yes! Combining my vague and meandering suggestions with her unbelievable gift for color, we made something very unique just for you guys!
Thanks to Madame Blackbird, there are two brand new one of a kind shades in this giveaway. That's right: this giveaway is for a custom eyeshadow duo! How fabulous is that?!
I would also like to give a HUGEMASSIVEOMGWOW thanks to Rebecca Shores for providing the amazing pictures for this giveaway. If you haven't already, you need to follow this chick. She does some stunning artistic makeup as well as really attainable looks. If not for her youtube, I would still be smearing my face with pencil eyeliner.
The best part guys: I finally fulfilled my life-long dream of being a cosmetics namer! I've been in a mythological state of mind (planning my next series) so I was definitely trying to think of a good sorta-scary duo to name these lovelies after. After a bit of back-and-forth, they were finally named and Scylla and Charybdis were born.

ReplyDeleteI love Blackbird, her mattes are amazing. This fall I am rocking dark purple mattes along with matte black but I have been moving into some lighter matte shades since my Blackbird order showed up. I love the final give away is an indie one!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could wear oxblood yearlong especially on my lips and nails, but I can't forget my fall favorite of rich golds.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color for fall that I've seen is in a Merle Norman palette. It's called "Gosh Garnet" and it's a beautiful coppery pink!
ReplyDeletePurple. But what Ireally want to know- WHAT is that matte red lipstick she is wearing, and is that out of the tube or did she do a bunch of other things to get it to look like that???
ReplyDeletegenerally she applies lipstick with a brush (I think). Shes got a kick-ass video on how to apply lipstick. You should check it out. Also, her winged liner video. It seriously changed my makeup for the better.
DeleteThe oxblood red, not the tomato red/coral.
ReplyDeleteReally anything that that's warm is fall to me... Especially that burgundy ;)
ReplyDeleteI actually really love wearing purple shades during Autumn!
ReplyDeletePlums and dark reds are always my favorite, even outside of fall.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite fall colors have a bit of purple in them. They could be mauvey, pinkish, browny, but they need to have that purple edge.
