Pinspired: Gentle Gradient and Gold

Pinterest is a housewife's dream. So many projects (that I'll never do), so many recipes (that I'll never make), and so many art pieces (that I'll never afford). Thankfully, I have fingernails and a little dedication...and a lot of time.

My Version:

I fell in love with this piece immediately. It is just so peaceful. I also knew right away what I wanted to use to recreate it. So how did I do? I think its pretty close to the original, but still in the realm of wearable-for-fingers. And after looking at the artists gallery, I think I might have to do a few more.

EDIT:
I emailed the original artist to let her know that I was going to be linking back (which I generally do if I can) and she actually liked my version! Apparently, the original is hanging in a salon...so its kinda perfect that I fell for this piece! Go check out the rest of her work, and be inspired!

    1. yeah?! It is totally up there for me too. I am not yet in a place where I can be all humble about this one. It turned out EXACTLY like I hoped.
